It starts now. It starts with you and with me.
This is not the first winter of our discontent, and this is not our first King George. But if we fail to act, this will not be our LAST King George. The stakes are too high, and the time is short, so let’s start.

The war is the least of it.
We need to f**king stand up and impeach these sons of b*tches, or else face the complete collapse of the Rule of Law.
The crisis is so grave and so few “representatives” see it that it is frightening. Who gives a f**k about another war? We’ll get into an impossible situation, use nukes, the s**t will hit the fan, and Bush can have his Armageddon.
But (and I’m speaking a bit prematurely, since it’s a post for later this week), the RULE OF LAW is in extreme peril. Petty crooks at every level, and disgusted judges, cops, etc. are all waiting for a cue to see whether or not “law” means anything. The crisis is as grave as we’ve ever known, but our “pundits” and “smart” people don’t seem to comprehend that we’re talking about the unraveling of the very fabric of society.
No rule of law? Sure, it’s all a “given” right? Computers and gasoline, microwave popcorn and air conditioning all grow on trees, right?
Bulls**t.
When the rule of law breaks down, it ALL goes away.
The stock market is about to collapse (the market has been volatile as nitroglycerine in an old mine wagon since July), and the Republic teeters. The greed that put BushCo in power and sustains it has RAPED this country, and there MUST be a reckoning. But if there is no rule of law, well, remember The Terror in France.
If we do not re-establish law, the blood will flow in our streets. The mansions will be splattered with blood, and the heads of the “stock options” CEOs will hang from the lamp posts.
Without all the high tech bulls**t — delivered via interstates and rails in a lawful land — our “army” will suddenly find themselves with a bunch of “planned obsolescence” high-tech junk, and anybody with a black market AK-47 will have a leg up.
In 1980 in New Mexico, in the prison riot, “civilized” human beings went to the most horrific barbarism imaginable in 24 HOURS. When the law itself crumbles … watch out. And the law cannot sustain itself in the face of a criminal presidency and a congress that AIDS AND ABETS that criminality.
We teeter on the edge of the abyss.
F**K IRAN. Iran is meaningless.
We HAVE to impeach these bast*rds, and we have to prosecute them, put them in jail, and extradite them to the Hague or else face the most dire consequences you can possibly imagine.
THAT’s the danger that no one’s facing. And that’s the danger that has to be faced.

That’s it in a nutshell. I’ll be fleshing this out in the weeks ahead. But that’s the gist of it. We cannot wait for congress. Congress does not lead, congress FOLLOWS the will of the people, and, as in 1776, when the people were WAY AHEAD of congress on the subject of independency, the people are ahead of congress on impeachment.
It’s time.
