Rush’s Kaarazy Black Preacher on Hannity & Colmes

This is part 2 of “The Fallacy of the Excluded Middle” (Go Read It, if you haven’t already), which contains this paragraph:

I’m hoping that Media Matters will have a complete transcript and/or the audio later on (WHICH I WILL LINK TO HERE) but today’s “Oprah is a whore” was courtesy of a pissed off Black preacher from Harlem (whom Rush prissily identified as a “Hillary supporter” and then — his virgin ears! — daintily distanced himself from by saying that they had to censor out even Krazier stuff.)

Well. Rush did the work FOR us, sort of. Here’s the transcript from HIS site:

RUSH: Do you remember, ladies and gentlemen, the Harlem Church Minister James David Manning? We played audio sound bites of Minister Manning, who has no love lost for Oprah Winfrey or Barack Obama. He is back. Last Saturday in Harlem at his World Missionary Church, Pastor James David Manning said this about Oprah Winfrey.

MANNING: I am Pastor James David Manning here to give you the report on the trinity of hell. Thus saith the Lord, his name is Jesus. Oprah Winfrey, Barack Hussein Obama, and the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright, this trinity, these three from the Trinity United Church in Chicago, Illinois. Number one, first, open-minded and middle-America white women supported a struggling actor and radio talk show host named Oprah Winfrey. Because of the many white women, who, without prejudice and lovingly supported this struggling actor and radio talk show host, she has now become, with the support of white women, one of the most famous and powerful women in America today.

RUSH: Pastor James David Manning of Harlem just getting warmed up.

MANNING: Now, when this struggling actor and radio talk show host had the opportunity to show her love and thanks to all of white America and white women in particular, for their love and support of her and supporting a rising presidential candidate in the name of Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama, Oprah Winfrey chose to support one of the boys from the ‘hood and one of the boys from the Trinity United Church, disavowing and showing her contempt for the white women who made her the great woman that she is today. Thus saith the Lord, to all white women in America, boycott the Oprah Winfrey Show. Go to your remote control now and block her show under your parental control guise. Do not purchase her products or services and do not become a guest on her show.

RUSH: You are listening to Pastor James David Manning from the New York World Missionary Church in Harlem talking about the evil trinity, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, and the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. He now continues.

MANNING: Senator Barack Hussein Obama is a long-legged pimp. Senator Barack Hussein Obama is supported by a billionaire named George Soros, who founded an organization named MoveOn.org to rescue former president William Jefferson Clinton during his impeachment hearings some time ago.

NOTE: This is untrue. MoveOn was founded by the nouveau riche Silicon Valley people who becaue nouveau riche from the flying toasters screensaver, the After Dark screensaver guys.

This organization — or Move On organization has now thrown its ugly left-wing support wholeheartedly behind Barack Hussein Obama, pouring nearly $200 million into the pockets of Barack Hussein Obama and in advertising to support his candidacy. He spent nearly all of that money with white agencies, white hotels, white businesses, white newspapers, and very little, if any, was spent with black television or black radio.

RUSH: This is last Saturday in Harlem at the World Missionary Church, Pastor James David Manning concluding now about the evil trinity, talk show host Oprah Winfrey, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, and Pastor Jeremiah Wright.

MANNING: Barack Hussein Obama played and pimped Warren Ballantine, Michael Baisden, Russ Parr, Roland Martin, and Tavis Smiley, just to name a few. They gave it up for free. He pimped nearly all of the black media, gave them no money, but they gave it up for free. I say unto you that they were played by the master player. Now, this trinity of hell: the Father, the Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright; the Son, the Senator Barack Hussein Obama; and the whore girl, Oprah Winfrey. These three, now, they are looking to be the president, the vice president, and the secretary of state. This is the report on the trinity of hell, and I am Pastor James David Manning.

RUSH: That’s Pastor James David Manning, a Hillary Clinton supporter, ladies and gentlemen, by the way, speaking last Saturday in Harlem from his World Missionary Church. There are some things that we chose not to air from his comments, which are related to the sexual preferences of these three members of the evil trinity.

Yeah.

Well, I tracked down the entire video (not very easy, which is why this is going up today, Friday, and not yesterday to back up Wednesday’s post). Turns out it’s on the You Tubes (sic).

And now I know WHY Limbaugh censored the crazier sex stuff.

And I’ll show it to you right now.

Oh, wait. Funny that Rush and Faux Nooz haven’t given you any BACKGROUND on who James David Manning is. (Well, maybe NOT so funny.) He’s a local crazy and likes media attention, so he’s just a subway ride away from the Fox studios of Hannity & Colmes. That’s convenient.

And he’s against every other major black leader. Kind like Alan Keyes in a minister’s bib. Only Keyes seems sane, sober and reasonable by comparison.

Let me give you a little background on JDM, first (remembering that if Rush and Faux Nooz — according to THEIR logick — quote him endlessly, it MUST be because they believe what he says, even if they weren’t present for his sermon) from the New York Times:

A Pastor’s Mission to Destroy Harlem

James David Manning says he wants to “save” Harlem. First though, he says he must destroy it –- rather, Harlem must destroy itself.

Dr. Manning, the pastor of the ATLAH World Missionary church in Harlem for the past 27 years, says the only way to free the neighborhood from its present grip of gentrification is for its residents to boycott its shops, restaurants, doctors, banks and churches (excepting his own, of course).

At Thursday’s meeting at his church, at the corner of 123rd Street and Malcolm X Boulevard, about 180 people came to hear an update on “No Dew, Nor Rain.”

“We wish to depress the local economy, drive down the property values back or to below the value of 1991,” the pastor told them. “The outflow of all the dollars in this community will stop.”

At one point, he paused and told his audience, “Now, ladies and gentlemen, that is enough to get me shot.”

The remark led to some nervous laughter in the audience. Outside the church stood two uniformed police officers.

Dr. Manning has made many enemies.

He has started recall campaigns against nearly every one of Harlem’s elected officials and criticized neighborhood acolytes like former President Bill Clinton, the Rev. Al Sharpton, and the Rev. Calvin O. Butts III, pastor of the Abyssinian Baptist Church, among others. He has also made unkind remarks about Senator Barack Obama.

Note: A monumental understatement. Like calling a Level V hurricane, “some wind.”

Dr. Manning said he loves Harlem and its people, and is only offering himself as the sort of effective leader the community has lacked since the days of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Malcolm X.

The pastor said Jesus appeared to him in a vision during prayer in the early 1990s and instructed him to change the name of the neighborhood from Harlem to ATLAH, which stands for “All The Land Anointed Holy.” …

But the New York Times is being needlessly coy. Manning IS that completely crazy, dangerous nutcase “Nat Turner” style scorched-Earth black preacher that Faux and Rush have been trying to convince Amerika (successfully, it would seem) that Reverend Jeremiah Wright (note how Faux visually conflates the two at the top of the page) is supposed to be — assuming that you didn’t see the Bill Moyers interview.

Because, in case you hadn’t guessed already, kiddies, James David Manning is crazier than a shithouse rat.

[Warning, devout Christians: You will be sickened in direct proportion to your devotion in the sound bites that follow, but it can't be helped. Fecal alert! But you NEED to see this.]

Don’t believe me? Take a look at this video (and there are legion of them on YouTube), wherein, surrounded by a phalanx of usher/bodyguards, JDM, beginning with “Obama is a Mac Daddy. Obama pimps white women AND black women …” and, well, the title ought to give you a hint at the loony direction of JDM’s rant: Obama’s Bra 54 Double “D”

JDM’s thesis is that “Obama Girl” launched Obama’s campaign with her tits, and that this was all part of Obama’s EVIL SATANIC plot. (JDM is a big Hillary supporter, BTW, which ought be included in the evaluation mix.) And you can understand WHY Rush likes the anti-affirmative action preacher HE pimps so lovingly.

“Obama is an emissary of the devil!” Well, talk about literally demonizing the opposition! (In contrast to opposing demons, like Osama bin Limbaugh).

But the REALLY creepy stuff, the stuff that, if you are a devout Christian, proves Wright NOT a Christian in any meaningful sense of the word starts at 7:18 when he begins an insane diatribe that starts out like this:

7:18 - I don’t have to compromise with not one of you nappy-head people. The word of God is in my mouth. Your health is in my mouth. Your ability to eat bread is in my mouth. If I don’t speak, you don’t eat. The word of God is in my mouth. And they’ll be a time you have — those of you who have spoken against me, GOD has taken away your peace and your sanity. But of the view he will inflict weith CANCER the time will come that those of you who speak against me, and you’ll be boiling eggshells to make the soup. That’s how griev-ie-ous the famine will be in your lives. God says you’re going to be scraping up pigeon droppings to make gravy to put on your eggshells because they’ll be nothing else to eat.

(This is what 20 seconds of sound bites was TRYING to portray Reverend Wright as. )

It is to America’s eternal credit that we allow people to speak like this, and it is to our eternal shame that any of us listen. To James David Manning and to Rush Limbaugh. Or, as he now styles himself, “El Rushbo.”

And by El Rushbo’s logic, whether he heard it or not, Osama bin Limbaugh AGREES with Manning’s insane ravings. Indeed, rarely can one find a true loon so easy to soundbite. Virtually EVERYTHING he says is wildly over the top, filled with hatred, implying violence, obsessed with the “other” and denying the “other” the very right to exist while touting his own divine gifts.

And James David Manning talks like that, TOO.

Unlike bin Laden, however, Rush is a non-believer, cynically USING a fringe hate-filled “religion” to advance an agenda of hatred and destruction.

Here is the sexual stuff that Rush censored out of the “Oprah is a whore” rant in the “Trinity of Hell” rant, which happens to be, not coincidentally, the CENTRAL THESIS of Manning’s little “Festival of Hate” screech. It’s important that you know Osama bin Limbaugh KNEW this, but thought it might be a little TOO over the top. (And that’s saying something, coming from America-hating Limbaugh.)

2:12 Thus saith the Lord, God Almighty. His name is Jesus on the report of the Trinity of Hell. The Reverend Doctor Jeremiah Wright is a closet homosexual. The senator Barack Hussein Obama is a closet homosexual. The Oprah Winfrey is a suspected lesbian. These three, all members of the Trinity United Church in Chicago, Illinois. The reason why Senator Barack Hussein Obama stayed within the Trinity of Hell, for so long, for twenty years, is because of a homosexual relationship with its minister. Thus saith the Lord God Almighty, who says that I am he that liveth …

No wonder Rush censored it! He KNEW how batshit crazy the reverend’s statements were, and how virtually NO ONE in his audience would buy it, (and what a firestorm would be ignited if he dared to play it, instead of coyly pushing the audience to find it, and so he SANITIZED JDM’s vile slander BACK to a more “reasonable” unreason. (And distanced himself from the very screed he was pushing, in his Iago-esque role in our Ku Klux Klan version of Othello. We, the People are cast as Othello. Desdemona is played, in a clever casting reversal, by Barack Obama.)

It is about as vicious and nasty a piece of hate as you’ll ever find, WRAPPED up neatly with “THUS SAITH THE LORD” and stating baldly that Jesus Christ himself says this. (Sorry, that’s not “Christian” by any stretch of the imagination. Period.)

That’s almost as America-hating as Rush Limbaugh. America hating? Yup.

Think about it: Limbaugh openly advocates violence and rioting in Denver — as usual, parsing his words to say what he means, just this side of “actionable” and then, KNOWING that he’s advocating violence at the Democratic Convention this summer, exhorts his millions of listeners, day after day, to openly interfere in the American electoral process, (”Operation Chaos”) by poisoning the primaries with fake votes — since they won’t mean anything in an already-decided Republican nominating race.*

[* And yes, Markos of DailyKos proposed doing the same thing in the Michigan primary -- to give Romney a win and prolong the primary battle for the GOP -- which I thought was shameful, and which has reaped this whirlwind, since Rush couldn't have figured it out on his own. Breaking the rules --written and unwritten, the latter of which are at LEAST as important as the ones written down -- ALWAYS creates consequences. That was the reason for the rules. We are civil to the opposition when in power, in case they come into power. Nothing "nice" about it. It's called "prudence." And we are reaping the results of that imprudent INcivility right now. Right Rush?]

But mere repetition does not excuse the “copycat” from criminal liability, as noted Wednesday. Just becaue you didn’t think up the crime you committed doesn’t mean that you didn’t commit the crime. And by airing Manning’s insane rant, Rush “said” it in any meaningful sense of the word.

Again, there is no country on Earth — save the USA — that would not have Limbaugh imprisoned, awaiting trial at this very moment. In fact, if the war were real, and we faced a grave threat, Limbaugh would be in prison under proper circumstances.*

[* Consider Eugene V. Debs, a candidate for president, imprisoned for opposing World War I, and, in response to his Supreme Court appeal, Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote that famously quoted out-of-hideous-context line, free speech doesn't give anyone "the right to shout 'fire' in a crowded theater." Debs's sentence was commuted, but never overturned. He served ten years.]

Well, Rush is yelling “fire” in our Theatre of Operations, but, in a country in which Bernie Ward is going to go to prison for nine years for emailing a photograph of a minor to a dominatrix named “Sex Fairy,” no one seems to care that, aside from advocating the creation of violence at the Democratic Convention, and wrecking the Democratic primaries with a twisted version of the old “Let’s you and him fight,” game, NO one is suggesting that we imprison Osama bin Limbaugh. No one minds that he’s trotted out his own crazy, sick religious zealot to push forward an agenda that would destroy America. (As has Faux Nooz, make no mistake.) And no one seems to mind.

How is this different from promoting Osama bin Laden’s (weirdly anti-contemporaneous) videotaped threats to America, etc.?

You can’t dig something like this from the bottom of the cesspool unless you’re swimming there already. And that’s about the only place that Osama bin Limbaugh lives, plotting to destroy the United States of America, and everything we stand for.

A terrorist by his own definition.

So, riddle me this: which terrorist has been more successful, bin Limbaugh or bin Laden?
