Rushing To Limbo

UPDATE, May 18: Seemingly, this Limbaugh show was a cornucopia of evil dumbassery, even by Rush’s admittedly low standards. Today, Crooks & Liars caught on to the 10th grader’s essay event, while Thursday May 15’s Stephanie Miller Show noticed that Rush was bragging about not having attended college. You can hear the lead-in at the end of Right Wing World — “Marxist professors.” Interesting that these relatively trivial matters are worthy of major attention, but Rush’s playing of the insane rants of Rev. James David Manning got zero attention in the same venues! Is this called a failure to prioritize? Or just missing the substance for the ephemera? Focus, people.
I have written a major two-parter on the whole manner in which the Limbaugh/GOP hate megaphone plans to run their fall campaign.
Collectively, it runs to over 6000 words, and contains a wealth of multimedia reference material that you’ll want to clip and save for future reference.
Part 1 was called
The Fallacy of the Excluded Middle
Part 2 is called
Osama bin Limbaugh
They’re something more than merely disposable blog posts, or intellectual ephemera.
And I urge you to go and read them. It will take a little effort on your part, and won’t just be another mindless bon bon for the brain, but you’ll get valuable knowledge that you aren’t going to get anywhere else, and it might prove invaluable, come November.
That’s my pitch, and now it’s up to you.
Courage.
