Heck, I already wrote this on March 5th, 2009 — precisely 60 days ago. If you care to read it, you only need add Sen. Arlen Specter’s defection to the mix. The conclusions remain the same:

Oh, he’s a smart fellow all right, the GM he tossed for a Toyota was a better product than the GOP he’s sticking with.
