Gee. I guess rust never sleeps.
Even though they’d be against virtually all of Reagan’s policies
today, Americans for Limited Government is more than willing to
sodomize his corpse. He creamed them in the 1980 election. Happy daze.
Just in case you were wondering, Howie Rich’s “Americans for Limited Government” is in bed with Eric O’Keefe’s Wisconsin Club for Growth in trying to re-elect judge Prosser in Wisconsin’s special Supreme Court election Tuesday. This is what they sent out on Thursday (using the header above), which isn’t surprising considering that Howard Rich is the chair of Club for Growth, State Action:
Subject: Donate to Help Justice Prosser in Wisconsin!
Date: March 31st, 2011Dear Liberty Activist,
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s victory, rolling back collective bargaining powers for public sector union pension and health care benefits, is in danger. Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser is being challeneged in an election on April 5, and the outcome may ultimately determine whether the law remains in effect or is struck down, no matter how specious the arguments against implementation. Please read the following message from blogger Ace of Spades about what you can do:
Donate to Help Justice Prosser!
National Review is sounding the alarm bells — this is the left’s first attempt to litigate the 2010 election.
It is important that conservatives nationwide make this campaign their own. What is at stake in Wisconsin is not just one piece of legislation or
one bill restoring a measure of sanity to the state budgeting process. The question to be answered in Wisconsin is: Who works for whom? Do the public employees work for the citizens, or are the citizens mere cattle to be disposed of at the pleasure of the bureaucrats and their union bosses? Every arrow in the quiver — court cases, judicial elections, recall, lawsuits, lies, libels, and brute thuggery — will be thrown at this case, along with lots of money derived from the union dues that state and local governments helpfully deduct from their employees’ paychecks on the unions’ behalf. Wisconsin may seem an unlikely battleground, but a line must be drawn, and this is the place to draw it.
You can’t donate [directly] to Justice Prosser, but, oh, lookie here, it turns out you can donate to two groups running ads in his favor: The Wisconsin Club for Growth and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Conmerce. [sic]
Some of you had written in asking how to help Justice Prosser. So here’s something you can do. Give to the Wisconsin Club for Growth and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce so they can run their ads helping Justice Prosser.
In today’s Liberty Action Report, Americans risk radiation exposure in TSA scanners, Senator Orrin Hatch proposes an anti-appropriations committee, GM asks for another bailout, and Senator Marco Rubio draws a line in the sand.

[* Yeah. Right. Sure.]
Just in case you were wondering what the Craniacs of David Koch’s 1980 Veepstakes were up to. (Kind of interesting that they’d use the guy who kicked the living crap out of them in their header, ain’t it?)
They’re SO concerned with YOUR individual liberty that they have no problem slushing money into YOUR state to control YOUR elections.
Eric O’Keefe of Wisconsin Club for Growth,
the Sam Adams Alliance, Charles Koch’s Institute for
Humane Studies, founding member of the Club for Growth, etc.
Some “liberty.” Seems more like a Cuban election. But Prosser’s in deep trouble, and perhaps all that stealth cash may not help him. But in case you were wondering if Howie Rich was still in bed with Eric O’Keefe* (and working for their stealth masters), this is a clue, at least.
They’ve been very proactive ($$$) in trying to swing this Wisconsin JUDICIAL election, which certainly speaks for how committed they are to YOUR personal freedom, methinks.
Cognitive dissonance? Hypocrisy? Lying weasels?
I guess you’ll have to decide that one for yourself.
Courage.
