Excuse Our Deferral

We have now entered the New Hampshire Primary Noise Zone. There is nothing I can say that would be heard against the backdrop of “I hear America Pontificating,” and so …

Faced with this inescapable (un)reality, I fear that I must respectfully defer to shriller voices.

But I will add this: the only thing that can stop Mitt Romney is widespread voter recognition that he’s a world-class douchebag. If it’s only money and organization, he’s pretty much a shoo-in.

As for voter recognition — we ARE talking about Republicans, after all, who still think that “trickle down” economics and tax cuts are the path forward. ‘Nuff said.
