The great crapfest known as Politico, felchers of the GOP, catamites to the howling monkeys of the right, have sacrificed another body to the Dead God Breitbart, as his followers demand blood sacrifice on a continuing basis to appease their Dark Lord:
In an MSNBC interview on June 21, Williams suggested that Mitt Romney was only comfortable around white people, prompting the conservative website Breitbart.com to flag a number of negative remarks Williams had made about Romney on Twitter. That night, Harris and executive editor Jim VandeHei sent a memo to staff announcing that Williams’ remarks “fell short of our standards for fairness and judgment,” and that he would be suspended pending review…

This is disgusting. Breitbart dot com ought NOT to have ANY fucking standing or credibility whatsoever as a “news” organization. They have a clear and undeniable record of destructo-journo that is ENTIRELY based on ruining people’s lives and nothing whatsoever to do with “news” or “online journalism” or whatever.
And what of Breitbart dot com’s blatant racism? Has anyone noticed that the vast majority of their victims have been Blacks? Or, the potential antisemitism of Breitbart’s destruction of Representative Anthony Weiner? Not merely content to hack his Twitter account to discover he’s (GASP!) MASTURBATING, Breitbart tried to destroy his marriage , his very existence, and showed up to hijack (literally) Weiner’s resignation news conference.

I have told Joe—and it’s a sentiment others who worked closely with him here share—that he’ll have my support as he prepares for what I expect will be a good and prominent next chapter in his career,” Harris wrote.

That’s one of the reasons why he seems so stiff and awkward in some town hall settings, why he can’t relate to people other than that. Williams says this (diplomatically) on the way out:
In response to this morning’s news, Williams wrote: “While I’m disappointed at the circumstances of my departure, I’m grateful to John Harris for giving me an opportunity to work with him at Politico.”
Which is a testament to his character, and another yawn for a comatose national media, scared bed-wetty by Breitbart and The Daily Caller, who are consistently engaged in a ruthless game of personal and professional destruction.
And a nation collaborates with the thugs, by commission and omission, as they collaborated with Senator Joe McCarthy until he, at last, had no decency left as a fig leaf.

I’ve been told (on a matter that sounds unrelated, but is) that I cannot be a “good Liberal” unless I accept Obamas summary execution policy (called “the kill list”). And now I’m being told, I cannot be a “good Liberal” unless I accept the “suspension/firing” of Joe Williams for his TRUTHFUL comments.
If that is the case, then as a “good Liberal”, I QUIT!
I would rather be a “Nothing” and stand for something, than be a “good Liberal” and stand for nothing.
I can’t help you there, Mac. I’ve never been called a “good liberal,” and, ofttimes, good liberals do their level best to let me know that I’m evidently no kind of liberal at all.
I can disagree with Obama on a lot of things without throwing him under the bus. On the other hand, I find myself incapable of agreeing with ANYTHING Mitt Romney says. The next six months, my dream is, that liberals will grow a collective spine, quit pissing on fellow liberals because they’re too pussified to attack scary Republicans, and actually band together, or, as Benjamin Franklin noted: Join or Die.
But, since I don’t believe in the tooth fairy, I fear that’s just an impossible dream.
