Continuing Professional Education

When I attend CPE, I draw to stay awake. Usually, I use a #3B pencil (preferred pencil of classical animators). My other stuff is usually done with a #6B, for reasons sufficient to myself. The first several are from a two-hour class. The remainder are the usual fare from the past week.

More after the fold. (Note, this sentence in included for technical typesetting reasons that are necessary but would bore hell out of you.)

3B young girl, seated, at mirror

3B saturn spica

The remainder are all the usual 6B. (And took longer than two hours. )

Just because I’m not writing doesn’t mean I’m not drawing.

Tomorrow: a special story, twenty six years in the making.

Courage.

  1. Young girl seated at mirror?

    • Why the hell not? Picasso got away with this idiotic crap and was deified. Any parody is purely intentional. Of COURSE it’s not that, but who in Modern Art knows it? Shhhh.

    Where’s your romantic side, Diane?
She’s looking at her reflection and thinking about ribbons and wedding rings, and whatever the cube is supposed to represent.

Looking at “young girl, seated, at mirror” got me to thinking.
“I wonder what a moebius hourglass would look like?”
