The Republican Hate Patrol is
out in full farce [sic] today. Beware.
It’s really quite simple. The release of the Mitt Romney tape and his last two dreadful weeks have freaked out the slime-merchants of the Right, who are throwing out (up?) EVERYTHING they’ve got stored for the last month of the campaign right now. This morning is filled with weird, psycho stories, which is the sign of a desperate and wounded GOP, not of anything else. We ought to be grateful to them for cleaning out their grease traps NOW, rather than waiting for later. They really ought to declare intellectual bankruptcy now and head for their tax shelters in the Caymans. It’s going to be a long winter for them.
When all you’ve got left is hatred and lies, you make crapade out of the crap life’s handed you, nu?
We begin with “The Washington Examiner” the latest astroturf/news distortion and propaganda outlet from another cranky zillionaire (the one who bought The Weekly Standard from Rupert Murdoch — see HERE), who’ve had t0 move up their smearathon/neo-birther attempt to recast a known quantity. Let’s listen to the moderate-sounding character assassination and self-c0ngratulatory slander, shall we?
Unoriginal ripoff of Sheperd Fairey’s 2008 iconic poster
maybe just a tad stale by now? And amateurish art to boot.
The Obama you don’t know

… In an effort to get a clearer picture of Obama — his shaping influences, his core beliefs, his political ambitions and his accomplishments — The Washington Examiner conducted a four-month inquiry, interviewing dozens of his supporters and detractors in Chicago and elsewhere, and studying countless court transcripts, government reports and other official documents….
Oooh .. DOZENS!
But beyond the spin and the polls, a starkly different picture emerges. It is a portrait of a man quite unlike his image, not a visionary reformer but rather a classic Chicago machine pol who thrives on rewarding himself and his friends with the spoils of public office, and who uses his position to punish his enemies….

The fall pot harvest must be in.
Any Red Meat? Well, sort of. Starting a “major” series on a Thursday indicates that this has been shoved up the calendar to deal with the Romney Hoof-in-Mouth outbreak of last week. Ah, mendacity. Without you, what would a Republican have left? (Shoes?)
Every day’s “Talk Like A Pirate Day”
for Bill-O. Not just yesterday.
Now, you must believe me when I tell you that I am NOT a Manichean, which is how I know that these people are evil.
According to established doctrine of millennia, it is agreed that Satan does NOT have the power, himself, to create (Manicheanism), and must, therefore, corrupt and pervert actual creations. Consider how everything about the Examiner’s preamble is merely the twisted xeroxing of legitimate news, and legitimate illustration, twisted to satanic purpose, composed of lies and utterly lacking in “creativity.”
Much like Michelle Malkin’s possible ripoff of my August 16 column, which seemingly steals the metaphor, style and analysis of that piece and corrupts it into a sad parody of the original, mostly because of the reflexive use of false-equivalencies rather than actual facts and the “wounded and aggrieved” victimology of its primary thrust. Since I am not a Manichean, I know that her work is evil.

The last is my personal favorite, if only for this tortuous line: “It was an irresistible combination of money, politics and idealism that also offered endless opportunities for greed and tragic abuse of the poor.“
Sounds more like jacket copy for a paperback potboiler than a “news” story, doesn’t it?
When the annals of Pulling It Out Of One’s Ass are written, this will warrant a chapter all its own. It continues in its satanic vein, taking actual stuff and distorting and twisting it in that non-Manichean manner. There’s more, but who, with a life, has time to read all this swill?
Let’s see. What else?
- CAPTION THIS: Debbie Wasserman Schultz Wrote Something On Her Hand, Too.
Glenn Reynolds / Instapundit
Ah. Glenn Reynolds believes himself to be smart and brilliant. Glenn Reynolds couldn’t be more wrong. Again, the satanic distortion, because NO SLEIGHT CAN EVER BE FORGOTTEN, ALL MUST BE AVENGED! Sarah Palin (fading fast from the blathersphere) was mocked for her hand-notes, recall.
MUST … GET … EVEN …
Idiots like Reynolds went apoplectic for weeks with their reflexive persiflage and now, never having enough “revenge,” Reynolds pounces like a pedophile on a preschooler. Ugly and obscene and a crime against nature, in other words. Does the distortion and funhouse mirror NON-creativity ever stop? Devil says: No.
Here’s some more vicious non-Manichean hate-speak from this day (with hvs commentary):
Jim Hoft / The Gateway Pundit:
Their Cult Worship Never Ends… Far Left Nuts Pledge Allegiance to Obama
(The Überhater of the blogosmear or blogosneer, Hoft’s magic eyes see all and reveal all from his grandma’s basement in St. Louis, MO. If he could get a date, the Hateocracy would be the poorer for it.)
Susan Duclos / Wake up America:
Democratic Creepiness: The Obama Cult
(Right. You have a very selective notion of “creepiness” Duclos.)
Stable Hand / The Jawa Report:
Austin, Texas: Deers [sic] For Romney
(Allegedly, deer are trashing Obama lawn signs, which is a “Sign from God” from the people who ignored the hurricane that trashed the first day of their national convention two quadrenniums running.)
ZIP / Weasel Zippers:
Obama’s Campaign Manager Tweets Out Super Creepy Pic Of Himself –
Update: Make Your Own Jim Messina Meme…
(For sheer hatiness, ZIP is without peer. Not as vile as Hoft, he makes up for it in sheer volume. This week, he had no fewer than six stories on Memeorandum at one time. The sheer range of his hatred almost tempts one into Manicheanism. But that would be heresy.)
John Hinderaker / Power Line:
Is Barack Obama America’s Most Dishonest Politician?
A lot of politicians are dishonest, but Barack Obama may be in a league by himself….
(Hinderaker is not only working for the Koch Brothers in his firm, but was installed on the Board of Directors of the CATO Institute during their hostile takeover a couple months back. Undoubtedly for trenchant “analysis” like this. Emphasis on “anal.”)
Dylan Byers / Politico:
Technically, Romney said peace was possible
(Ever-compliant Byers: the liar Romney must be “defended” to prove that complicit Byers isn’t merely a fake reporter for a fake news organization — I’m sorry, but Politico is mostly TMZ for politics, with lower journalistic standards — but actively supports the lies of the right because that’s “balanced.” He doesn’t even make it into Dante’s Hell, but waits in limbo in the “vestibule” — reserved for those not good enough for heaven but not bad enough for hell.)
Fox News: Major report released on Fast and Furious, DOJ official resigns
(After years of humping this latest iteration of Whitewater as a racist attack on Attorney General Eric Holder, the news that Holder was completely exonerated seems distinctly underplayed by the Romney campaign. Er, I mean, Faux Nooz.)
Aviva Shen / ThinkProgress:
Sponsor Of Pennsylvania Voter ID Law Defends Romney, Says ‘Lazy’ People Also Shouldn’t Vote

- Pew Research Center for the People and the Press:
Obama Ahead with Stronger Support, Better Image and Lead on Most Issues — Democrats Narrow Engagement Gap
OVERVIEW At this stage in the campaign, Barack Obama is in a strong position compared with past victorious presidential candidates. With an eight-point lead …
No, that’s the ACTUAL NEWS. It’s what follows that’s hilariously anti-Manichean:
Katrina Trinko / National Review: How Biased Are Polls? It has become a familiar pattern …
Ah, when the message is bad, kill the messenger. (Like the “missing two minutes” that Byers NOW defends Romney with, to minimize the other 78 minutes of his plutocratic pornography.)
No creativity, of course, but perversion and corruption are their bailiwick and at those they excel. And that’s just scanning ONE DAY’s counterattack on Real Facts and such with fake facts and selectively edited film clips of President Obama from back in 1998 to pretend that’s EQUIVALENT to Mitt Romney’s “May” comments at the zillionaire’s auto-da-fe.
Or, just take a look at this page and smell that hate in the morning. Smells like victory.
As the rats turn for a last ditch battle or else abandon the sinking ship of the Romney canDUDacy.
