GOP Qaeda

Another ‘brilliant’ strategem from the GOP ‘patriots’

Poor Mittens blew his “gotcha” moment so badly that Karl Rove’s attempt to run on 9-11 AGAIN (and, by the by, giving aid and comfort to the enemy) had to be taken offline for a couple daze, but is now redux’d for the weekend news cycle (so they can ‘game’ the Monday foreign policy debate):

‘My son is not very optimal
Daily Mail (UK)

he is very dead’: Mother of diplomat killed in Benghazi attack slams Obama’s comment on raid  —  The mother of an American diplomat killed during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’ …

Let’s get two things straight: first, WTF is this continual cycle of using British tabloids to game an American election and American policy. They used Atlas Society honoree, speaker and cash-recipient James Delingpole to launch the “Climategate” scandal a Christmas or so ago. Now, they use British newspapers as their focal point for fake news. Take a look at the top of Memeorandum right now, and note that it’s only the Rovian Blog Corps pushing this foreign swill to the top of the page:

What is this, folks? The whole GOP attempt to blame Obama for Benghazi, when Mitt Romney’s astonishingly clueless political attack on the Obama Administration before we even KNEW the Ambassador was dead and while the attack WAS STILL GOING ON is far more embarrassing and damning: classical Karl Rove Swiftboating.

They’ve had the zombies of the Rovian Blog Corpse setting this up, and by shoving it to the top of the page on Friday, we cannot fail to see that the coincidence is too good to be true.

After two days of the Romney campaign’s studied and screaming silence on the Libyan Embassy Kerfuffle, the Etch-A-Sketch has been wiped clean, and, since no legitimate American newspaper would do  the requisite jumping through hoops, a British “newspaper” of questionable intent and credibility is willing to do the heavy lifting for the American “patriots”? (Who can then “link” to it and chime in the requisite talking points, differentiated in tone only by the highly individualistic bullying snark of the individual conspirators.)

Make no mistake: this is the “October Surprise”: a grand diversionary movement of an electorate they hold in contempt — as proven by continual stunts like this.

But, to USE Al Qaeda to win an election  is vile and evil. (And, in so doing, inflate the worth of the Benghazi murderers, very nearly an act of treason, and utterly an abandonment of all American bipartisan governance, until Reagan, who made a deal with the Ayatollah not to release the hostages. We can see how well that worked out for them and how badly for us, please note.)

And to USE it even while it was GOING on … and to use a BRITISH NEWSPAPER to create the blogswarm … this is GOP Qaeda. These are enemies of the American Republic. These are electoral terrorists.

And, while we’re at it, is it just me, or is there some reason that I can’t find a single voter suppression billboard picture that doesn’t have the Clear Channel logo at the top?

Google it. “voter fraud billboard” no quotes and look in “images.”

Bain Capital owns Clear Channel, coincidentally.

I can’t find a single voter suppression billboard picture (from Wisconsin to Ohio and elsewhere) that wasn’t rented by Clear Channel.

And Mitt Romney is the Once and Future King of Bain.

They have no legitimate positions, so they will struggle as hard as  Nereus to change into whatever shape will scare you into voting for them.

Beware …

Three Golden Apples from the tree of the Hesperides

The most difficult part of this task was to find the location of the garden. Heracles set off toward the west…. Heracles met some river nymphs who told him that Nereus, the old man of the sea, would know the whereabouts of the garden. Heracles found Nereus and asked him for directions. When Nereus refused, Heracles leapt on the sea-god, and held him in a clinch, but Nereus could transform himself into many forms, including fire and water. However, Heracles held on and in the end Nereus was forced to give the hero the directions he needed…
